FTHR Hat Co. started in the simplest, most unexpected way. In January 2025, as waterfowl season was coming to a close, a Hooded Merganser from a final hunt inspired the very first design of mine. I saved a few feathers to turn into a keepsake—something meaningful I could hold onto. After playing around with ideas, I decided to place the feathers on a trucker hat.

I started wearing the hat just about everywhere, and little by little people began asking me where it was from and giving kind compliments. That’s when I realized this small creative project might be something I could share with others too. What began as one meaningful hat slowly grew into what this brand is becoming now.
